We hope that you are delighted with the purchases you make with us on all occasions, however we understand that sometimes mistakes can happen on both ends! This policy outlines the steps that you as the customer and us as the seller will take to ensure your shopping experience results in a fair outcome for all.
Fair and Reasonable Actions
We do ask that in the instance of any issue you act fairly and reasonably, contacting us as early as possible and refraining from any form of social media commentary (including negative reviews) until we have reached a final outcome with you. And we are confident that it will be a fair and agreeable one for all!
Returns are accepted and the type of refund will depend on certain conditions. You must notify us of your intention to return the unused goods within 14 days of you taking receipt of the goods. Returns will only be accepted if the goods are unused and in the same condition that you received them from us including all original identifying labels. In order for us to help, you should make an effort to ensure suitable repackaging is used and allowing for adequate protection of the goods during return transit. You must contact us to discuss return shipping options before sending.
Any returns where the buyer’s situation has changed or the buyer changes their mind may not automatically receive a full refund. In cases of change of mind, should we agree to issue a refund, you may only receive the cost of the product less the original shipping amount incurred. Discretion may be given in special circumstances. Return shipping in these situations is to be paid by you, the buyer. Once we have received the returned goods and after inspection, as soon as we are happy with the re-saleable condition of the goods, we will organise for a refund to be made.
Replacements will be sent out at our cost for products supplied with manufacturer faults or if the wrong product was sent, subject to the substitutions policy selected at check out. In line with Australian Consumer Law, we will cover the shipping cost for this circumstance. If the product was damaged during shipping or after receipt by you, contact us to discuss options at that time, as in some cases you may need to take up the issue with the shipping company, which we may be able to support.
Gardening and Climate Factors
Note that refunds and replacements will not be given for failure to grow or bloom as there are many environmental and garden care factors influencing these outcomes that are beyond the control or measure of Tijara Iris Garden. We offer extensive iris care and growing guidance on our website and periodically through our social media accounts, however it is ultimately up to you as the customer to ensure appropriate climate, soil and other growing conditions for the best outcome. We are happy to assist with troubleshooting via email in these circumstances also.
